We´ve said it before but we´ll say it again… elopements are the best. Last summer we drove down to the Algarve to document Lexi and Matt´s elopement on the beach, the culmination of months of emails and brainstorming and exchanging photos of inspiring places as we worked together to decide where their intimate exchange of vows would take place and how they day would unfold. After discussing various possibilities throughout Portugal, they decided on the caves of the Algarve coastline. Their day consisted of: drinking wine at 11am, a speedboat tour of the caves, a touching exchange of vows on a deserted beach (only seagulls as witnesses) followed by more wine, and then a sunset walk on the cliffs. A pretty good day, I would say… and we´re glad to have been a part of it all.
