Families are awesome! Since I became a parent I enjoy doing family and maternity shoots more and more and I’m always excited when I’m invited to spend a bit of time with a family to document who they are. Steph got in touch a couple of months back to photograph her family as she was expecting a new baby girl and we spend a lovely afternoon wandering in the picturesque streets of old town Cascais. Big bro wasn’t too keen to be in front of the camera, but we just had to be patient, let him do his own thing, be present and enjoy the moment… and life as it is would give us great photographs. And there you go, this formula always works, I love the natural smiles and the goofy moments give even more character to the photos, don’t you think?
