It’s been a while since I’ve posted work around here … the world is moving fast, where the immediate is the key and where hundreds and hundreds of images pass on a fast cadence with an constant rhythm “tiktoking” away on a reel of content on the destination weddings world.
I still think that slow is beautiful, and still believe that a blog post is the best way to savour a wedding day and relive each moment separately … I even find myself enjoying more when I distance myself from the day I photographed and the day I’m posting online.
This destination wedding in Portugal is an oldie, from last year and has been sitting in my drafts for all this time, but I couldn’t let it go without posting. It’s one of those that doesn’t happen very often… a three day fiesta from a rooftop in Lisbon on the first day, to a colourful celebration of love at one of my favouritevenues in the world, and a relaxed beach day to close the celebration.
I had so much fun being part of and documenting these three amazing days that I’m putting it out to the universe : Universe, please send more weddings like this my way! … there you go I’ve said it, lets see if it works!
