Exciting days are ahead of us in the next couple of weeks. A mix of excitement, anticipation and a bit of fear as we don’t know what the future holds. Portugal is loosening the state of emergency and lock down measures, we’re getting ready for a new normal. I wonder sometimes if we’re going to kiss and hug again like in the past … if we’re going to get together by the thousands at a concert and hold hands with a complete stranger singing along the encore of the song of our favorite band… is everything really going to be ok, as the cliché says? Is everything going to go back to how it was just a couple of months ago?
Well … enough with the fear and doubt, let’s stay positive and recall the happy times. These two crazy kids that came all the way from Australia to celebrate their Lisbon elopement. This is a vibrant city, where the old and the new live side by side, where Europe mingles with Africa and India and melts in new colours, flavours and fragrances. The perfect city to elope, to get lost, to come on an adventure!
Jasmine and June did just that. We had an amazing time getting lost in the narrow streets of Alfama, taking photos and discovering hidden courtyards and corners… I want to do it again! I’m keeping my fingers tightly crossed that everything will be ok, and I´ll get to do it again and again.
