The party started a day earlier at Sara´s folks place, and you could feel the great atmosphere that would be all around us for the weekend. The smell of the sardines grilling on the coals, cold beer on tap, football playing on the big screen and a group of family and your best friends around you, all the main ingredients for a great party.
The big day started early… the late night party from the previous day didn´t stop the good energy and the sound of the laughter and good vibes were always in the air. I couldn´t understand a word, Flemish was the language spoken, but somehow it felt familiar as it´s very similar to Afrikaans, one of the official South African languages, but despite that I could understand the body language and the sound of the happiness and the anticipation of a good day. And it was, we all had a blast!
From the ceremony to the speeches during dinner, finishing with the killer dance floor, their day was amazing! And was a great pleasure to be part of it and get to document it all. Sara and Mathieu, thank you so much for trusting me, for your kindness and smiles, and for inviting me to be part of your special day.
