This was my first wedding of the season. I booked this wedding way before I knew that we were pregnant, but our baby girl was due that week so I was a bit apprehensive that she might arrive on the wedding day. Luckily though she decided to stay indoors a little bit longer, I guess she could tell that the spring hadn’t yet arrived and she was waiting for the sun.
Unfortunately this meant that it was raining for Rachel and Lee´s wedding. Despite the rain Quinta de Sant´Ana never lets you down, there´s always a solution and a great plan in place in case there´s something that doesn´t go as expected. The bride and groom were happy, in love and with their best people around them, the Cottas were in the house to entertain the crowd and everybody was in a great mood. The sun came out eventually and gave us a glorious sunset and everything fell in to place, it was an amazing wedding day!
A big shout out to my good friend and very talented photographer Rui ( aka me menine) from Love is my Favorite Color who was my wingman and second photographer for the day.
