Ursula and Warren tied the knot in Cape Town earlier this year and we met up with them and their little one for a pre wedding family photo session on the beach. Unbeknownst to us when planning the date of the shoot, is that we chose was was literally the windiest day in Cape Town all summer. And as anyone who lives here will tell you, that is really, really windy. It was also the day on one of the biggest mountain fires the city has seen in years, the result being that the sky was full of massive smoke clouds and the sun was almost completely blocked out. It was very Apocalypse Now. With wind. Lots of wind.
But this badass little family took it in their stride and wouldn´t even consider re-scheduling… because once your´ve told a little girl that she´s spending the afternoon on the beach, there is no-one in this world brave enough to tell her that actually, no… we cancelled the beach. That was definitely not happening. So we went to the beach!
