Heading south and Happy Holidays!

Northern Hemisphere Christmases are all very well and good, with the cold weather and twinkling lights, roaring fireplaces and copious amounts of food… but this year, we´re heading south, to warmer climates. In South Africa, Christmas is in the middle of summer which means we make a lekker braai (barbecue) and spend the afternoon on the beach with beers. Very different to here in the north, but no less fun. So that where we´ll be this Christmas, on the beach with beers. We will still be answering emails and doing work things, but at a bit of a slower pace… African time, when in Rome, as they say…

So we´re a little bit early, but here´s wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year… See you guys in January! xoxo

O Natal do hemisfério norte é muito bonito, com o tempo frio, as luzes de natal, a lareira quentinha a arder e quantidades intermináveis de comida… mas este ano, vamos até ao sul. Para temperaturas mais amenas. Na África do Sul, o Natal é no verão o que significa que fazemos um belo churrasco e passamos a tarde na praia a beber cerveja. Bem diferente daqui do norte, mas é tão ou mais divertido. Ora mesmo na praia a beber cerveja, vamos responder a emails na mesma e fazer algumas coisas de trabalho, mas num ritmo um bocadinho mais lento… em tempo africano… como se costuma dizer, quando em Roma… …

Sendo assim, e mesmo estando um bocadinho adiantados, desejamos a todos um feliz Natal e um ano novo cheio de boas energias…  e vêmo-nos em Janeiro!! xoxo
