Piteira Photography is a half Portuguese, half South African husband and wife photo-team. We travel to Cape Town every summer (between November and March) and are available to shoot while in town, if you are keen to work with us get in touch and we are more than happy to plan our trip to coincide with your wedding date!

Josephine and Jeff’s wedding took place in the picturesque valley of Ceres, a few hours north of Cape Town, famous for its fruit production (and juice) in the summer and for the snow capped mountains in the winter. The reception was held on a family farm tucked right up against the mountains in a location nothing short of spectacular… a stately old farmhouse surrounded by ancient oak trees and acres of pear and apple orchards, they couldn’t have found a more beautiful or meaningful place to celebrate their wedding day. This was the first wedding we’d shot together in South Africa (hopefully the first of many) and are eternally grateful to Josephine and Jeff for letting us into their lives on this important day and trusting us with our crazy ideas, we wish you all the best for your new life together… wherever in the world that your journey takes you.

What a great work!! I agree with Diane, I too feel like I was on set. Love the last one, but my absolute favourite is the one with the groom in front of the mirror that you can see just his face in the reflection. A non pretentious intimate moment, very artistic. Well done and good luck to both!!

As an amateur photographer, I love the personal look to your photos. I felt as though I was there.

What a fantastic set of photos. I really like how warm your shots are; it’s a great style and quite identifiable. Beautifully done.

Pretty pretty light! Gorgeous!
