… O que ei de dizer do Luis e da Rute ? Posso dizer que enquanto editava estas fotos  não conseguia parar de sorrir, enquanto revia as imagens… desde os momentos divertidos e de galhofa nas fotos com os padrinhos basicamente sendo “os rapazes”, ao olhar apaixonado dos noivos quando foram anunciados marido e mulher, o sentimento final após olhar para este dia de casamento em perspectiva é de que estes dois formam um casal cheio de amor e felicidade. E é contagiante. Quando estão juntos o Luis é normalmento o mais falador, o que toma a iniciativa o super organizado e eficiente. Enquanto a Rute a mais calma e observadora, sempre tomando conta de quem a rodeia, eficiente na sua própria maneira sempre certificando-se de que toda a gente está bem… mas algo me diz que a Rute assume o controlo mais vezes do que parece. Faz-me lembrar aquele filme  americano ” viram-se gregos para casar” em que a mãe, a certa altura diz :  ” o homem pode ser a cabeça da casa, mas a mulher é o pescoço! E pode virar a cabeça no sentido que quiser…” Uma cabeça sem pescoço, talvez não funcione lá muito bem… e um pescoço sem cabeça? Acho que é facilmente fácil de perceber o resultado! Em resumo, o que tento dizer é que a Rute e o Luis foram feitos um para o outro, e que o amor que têm um pelo outro vê-se imediatamente  é lindo de se ver…  e faz-me sorrir… e isso só por si é a melhor forma e demonstração de amor que se pode encontrar…

Luis & Rute… what can we say? I can say that while we were editing their photos I couldn’t stop smiling while going through and selecting images… from the groomsmen hamming it up for the camera and just generally being “the boys” to the looks on the couple’s faces when they had been pronounced husband and wife, these guys are just full of love and happiness, and its contagious. When they are together, Luis tends to be the one who talks more, the one who takes the lead, and is super-organised and efficient, while Rute is quieter and always looking after everyone, efficient in her own way, making sure that everyone is ok and happy … but I get the slightest little feeling that Rute is more in charge than it seems. It reminds me a bit of that line from the movie: “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” where the mom says” “the man may be the head of the household, but the woman is the neck, and she can turn the head whichever way she wants to…” A head without a neck, doesn’t really work so well… and a neck without a head? That one is fairly self explanatory! Basically, what I’m trying to say here is that these guys are made for each other, and that their love for one another is a wonderful thing to see, it makes me smile… and that, right there, is the best kind of love you can find…
