Esther and Carlos live in Switzerland but are coming out to Portugal later this summer for their destination wedding in Cascais, just outside of Lisbon. We met up with them a few weeks ago to photograph this session and decided to hop on the ferry boat in Cais de Sodre and take a trip to the other side of the river. Esther told us that when we suggested the boat trip it coudln´t have been more perfect since Carlos proposed on a boat on the Tejo river… serendipity was on our side, which is always a great sign! We spent a lovely afternoon exploring the less touristy south bank and seeing Lisbon from a different angle… we can´t wait to see you guys again in a few months!
A Esther e o Carlos vivem na Suíça mas vêm a Portugal no verão para casar em Cascais. Encontramo-nos há umas semanas atrás para fotografar a e-session deles e decidimos atravessar o Tejo no cacilheiro até ao outro lado do Rio. A Esther disse-nos que a nossa sugestão não poderia ter sido melhor pois o Carlos pediu-a em casamento precisamente num barco no rio Tejo… o destino estava do nosso lado, o que é sempre um bom sinal. Passámos uma tarde muito agradável explorando a parte sul do rio, menos turística vendo a vista de Lisboa de um ângulo diferente… mal podemos esperar para vos ver novamente daqui a uns meses!
