Julia & Nelson | Alentejo engagement

Julia and Nelson are getting married under an oak tree in the Alentejo next year and we are so excited we can hardly wait. If you´ve been following our blog for longer than 5 minutes you will know how much we ADORE the Alentejo region, the landscape, the cute little farm towns, the light… aah, the beautiful golden light… this is by far our very favourite part of the country to photograph and we´ve said it many times before. As Julia says, it´s the “nova Toscana” and she´s absolutely right… the Alentejo has everything that makes Tuscany famous, but without the crowds because it hasn´t yet been discovered… So do yourselves a favour and next time you´re in Portugal, take a trip down south and discover this wonderful region. Julia and Nelson, we are literally counting the days until your wedding, it´s going to be divine and we can´t wait! xo

A Julia e o Nelson casam-se debaixo de um sobreiro no Alentejo no próximo ano e nós estamos tão ansiosos que mal podemos esperar para que chegue o dia. Se tens seguido o nosso blog por mais do que 5 minutos sabes com certeza que ADORAMOS o Alentejo, a paisagem, as aldeiazinhas castiças, a luz… aah, a linda luz dourada… esta é de longe a parte do país favorita para fotografarmos e já o dissémos muitas vezes antes. Como diz a Julia, é a “nova Toscania” e não poderia estar mais certa… o Alentejo tem tudo o que faz da Toscania famosa, mas sem as multidões pois ainda não foi descoberto… por isso, façam um favor a vocês mesmos e da próxima vez que venham a Portugal, façam uma viagem até a sul para descobrir esta região fantástica. Julia e Nelson, nós estamos literalmente a contar os dias até ao dia do vosso casamento, vai ser fantástico e mal podemos esperar! xo
